Colgate University Orchestra to Perform Beethoven

The Colgate University Orchestra, Marietta Cheng, Conductor, “dazzled the audience” will perform Beethoven’s iconic masterpiece, Symphony No. 3 in E Flat Major, Op. 55, “Eroica” on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in the Colgate Memorial Chapel. The other major work on the program will be Brahms’ magisterial Concerto for Violin and Cello in A Minor, Op. 102 with Kristen Lee, Violin, Winner of the 2012 Walter Naumburg Competition, and Sophie Shao, Cello, Winner of an Avery Fisher Career Grant.
This concert is free and all are most welcome.
