The 4th Annual Makeover My Heart - A Heart Healthy Day for Women, will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at the Radisson Hotel, Utica Centre from 8am - 4pm. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased on-line at www.makeovermyheart.org OR at Slocum Dickson Medical Group.
Established in 2007, Makeover My Heart is a 501c3 non profit organization whose mission is raising community awareness about women and heart disease.
Our annual sell-out event combines an enjoyable day of heart healthy education with the casual feel of a girls' day out. Our uniquely interactive program incorporates important information about heart disease in a fun and creative way. Guests will hear important information about heart disease, including emerging risk factors, successful strategies for living with heart disease, as well as understanding heart palpitations and what they mean. They can also choose from a variety of workshops on Diabetes, Cholesterol, take a Heart healthy cooking or Zumba class and so much more. Tickets are only $20 which includes breakfast, lunch, all lectures, workshops and our health and wellness are.
