The "Layered Meanings" exhibition at the Longyear Museum of Anthropology features beautifully handcrafted mola textiles by the Kuna Indian women of Panama. Molas are appliqué and reverse-appliqué textiles that constitute the front and back panels of women’s blouses among the Kuna people in the San Blas Islands (Kuna Yala) of Panama.
